Q. What is USFamilyMall?

A. USFamily Mall is a new start page for all our customers, providing you the latest in news, weather, sports, information, sweepstakes, online shopping, local coupons, local theater listings, and local classifieds.

Q. What is the difference between a Start Page and a Home Page?

A. A Start Page is the first web page displayed by Netscape and Internet Explorer when you connect to the Internet. A Home Page is the page that your browser displays when you open it. Your browser will also display this page when you click the home page button on your toolbar.

Q. How do I change my start page back to www.USFamily.Net?

A. With USFamily.Net, you can set your start page to any webpage you would like. All you need to do is click the following link: https://www.usfamily.net/usr-startpage.html

You will then need to enter in your assigned username and password, and then type in the web address of the webpage you would like as your start page.

Q. I clicked on the "Save as Homepage" button, but it did not make USFamily Mall my homepage.  What can I do to set USFamilyMall as my homepage?

A. In Netscape:

  • Within your browser, from the "Edit" menu, select "Preferences".

  • Click on "Navigator" on the list of choices in the left window. You will see a "Home Page" section on the right.

  • Type in: http://www.usfamilymall.com

  • After you type in the address in this box, check to see that the "Home Page" button is selected in "Navigator starts with".

  • Click the "OK" button

  • Test your settings by clicking on the "Home" button in your Netscape Navigator toolbar

In Internet Explorer 4

  • Within your browser, from the "View" menu, select "Internet Preferences".
  • Select the "General" tab. You will see a section entitled "Home Page".
  • Type in: http://www.usfamilymall.com
  • Click the "OK" button
  • Test your file by clicking on the "Home" button in your Internet Explorer toolbar.

In Internet Explorer 5.0 and higher

  • Within your browser, from the "Tools" menu, select "Internet Options".
  • Click the "General" tab. You will see section entitled "Home Page".
  • Type in: http://www.usfamilymall.com
  • Click the "OK" button
  • Test your file by clicking on the "Home" button in your Internet Explorer toolbar.
